The pelts are still too rare (I've found) to farm in Hollowshade for my L33 Beastlord and I have spent months in that sodding zone. But if you must, I've found the best place is when the owlbears control the south. Just camp near a village and pick off the outlying 'fishing' owlbears.
The best thing is to check the traders inzone and nearby in Shar Vahl. Other people don't know what to do with them and sell them to merchants. You can then pick them up for a couple of gold each. Shadeling silk are easy to farm in The Pit, 40 silks in 10-15 minutes shouldn't be difficult. Just get pet to slaughter everything while you loot.
Cheapest way to tailor 80-135 IMHO.

The Owlbear pelts and shadeling silk are extremely easy to farm. I think this is the easiest way to get Tailoring to 135 for people who don't want to pay for stacks of spider silk at bazaar prices.
what no barbarian on it? its odd to have the large races and classes that are barb classes, but not for barbarian. anybody who has this is it a typo or just bad news for us barbs.

End result of this quest is a Sleek Wolf Hide Jerkin. At least I think it is the end result so far, skill needed to make the Owlbear Tunic (need to turn 6 of them in for the Jerkin), is kinda of low to be the end of the quest. Don't know the stats for the Jerkin off the top of my head, but it is AC 16, with 3 or 4 more bonuses. My Beastlord still wears his.
