Breath of Mysaphar #14: Strengthening the Blood

This task unlocks after completing the previous task in the series and gaining level 70.
All dragons give the same quests. Every five levels you may obtain the task to receive the next level of innate breath, up to level 75. Mysaphar may be found at -270, -445, +100. You say, 'Hail, Mysaphar, Seeker of All' Mysaphar, Seeker of All says 'Vasha, child. I do hope one day to see you as one of the Moonfire. That is the name of all of my drakkin offspring who have proven themselves. Proving yourself is a somewhat long and purposeful journey, but it is littered with many rewards. Do you wish to take the [steps] necessary to become one of the Moonfire?' You say, 'I wish to take the steps.' Mysaphar, Seeker of All says 'In my time communing with the spirits I felt great pain. I came to learn that in the mines of Vergalid there is a great bone golem that was created with the sole intent of ensuring the slavery of your brethren. Within the realm of magic, there are those who worth with the spirits and those who abuse them. The creators of Velosk are the latter and you must destroy this crime against nature.' You have been assigned the task 'Strengthening the Blood'. Mysaphar sensed great pain among the nature spirits and found that Dyn'leth's necromancers have raised a great golem called Velosk to aid in their enslaving of the Drakkin. This affront to nature must be destroyed. Collect 1 Skull of Velosk (0/1) - Vergalid Mines Velosk is a large undead golem in the lower part of the Vergalid Mines. Its placeholder is "a bone grafter." It can spawn at +275, -1925, -585 (by some water); +175, -1460, -490 (top of the spiral down the pit); +370, -1180, -770 (quite a way down the spiral). Kill it to loot the skull. Deliver 1 Skull of Velosk to Mysaphar, Seeker of All (0/1) - Crescent Reach Mysaphar, Seeker of All says, 'You continue to walk the path of the Moonfire as a seeker of wisdom and protector of the spirit wold. I am very pleased.' You receive the ability to cast Breath of Mysaphar (level 14). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

getting the key is the least of your problems. if you're actually doing this at lvl 70 and manage to get through the door, you will have to fight your way all the way down the spiral (undead mobs and regular mobs who see through invis- mostly red and yellow @ 70), then repeatedly kill the ph and the surrounding mobs until velosk pops. bring friends, especially a good healer and someone who can snare. this quest makes refugiu look like cake.

Well if its anything like VT you can shrink to max and SS through the door.

yea, have fun with this guy because if you don't have the key, you will need to either get the key or die and let someone that has key drag your body across. He wasn't bad of a fight.
