Jenray #3: Under Pressure

This task is the third in a series of three. It begins with Jenray, Envoy of Ro, who is found in the Direwind Cliffs in a tent just outside the lava moat to the right of the Ashengate zone.
You say, 'Hail, Jenray, Envoy of Ro' Jenray, Envoy of Ro peers down at your weapons with a glaring eye, 'You had best sheath those weapons before I take them from you, ____.' If you hail again without unequipping your weapon, Jenray will attack. And don't expect assistance... who wants to ruin their Scholars of Solusek faction? After sheathing your weapons... You say, 'Hail, Jenray, Envoy of Ro' Jenray, Envoy of Ro says 'Welcome, Troll, to our humble encampment. Warm yourselves by our flame and rejoice in the many [gifts] that Solusek Ro bestows upon his faithful.' You say, 'what gifts?' Jenray, Envoy of Ro says 'You may have been blinded, as I once was, by the mundane powers of Norrath's pantheon. But look around you now. Evidence of Solusek's influence and omnipotence abound. What would this world be with a sunless sky, hmm? And this simple campfire has the ability to warm, to cook meals, or to burn the unfaithful. Now consider the earth upon which you are standing. This extended mountain range exists because HE WILLS IT SO. What other deity can claim that kind of [superiority]?' You say, 'superiority?' Jenray, Envoy of Ro smiles, 'Ah, ____. You deserve to see for yourself. Allow me to show you the miracles so you will understand.' You have been assigned the task 'Under Pressure' The primative residents of Ashengate refer to the oozes in the Reliquary as lava-that-lives. While direct and in all respects true, this name belies their beauty and their ultimate purpose. You see, the oozes swallow chunks of stone. Over time and under tremendous heat and pressure, they grind up the rock within internal glands until it becomes a rough uncut gemstone. They expel the diamonds and then begin the entire process anew. As you see, this is another of the miracles that Solusek bestows to his faithful followers. Bring me several of the glands as well as the stones, purely for research purposes, of course. 1. Collect 1 Lava Ooze Gland 0/1 Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale Lava Ooze Gland drops off a magma slime and a pile of ashen goo in the west wing. "Collect" means it CANNOT be prelooted. 2. Collect 1 Solusek Diamond 0/1 Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale Solusek Diamond drops off a whirling sootshadow, an arbiter of ash and an ashen dervish in the west wing. "Collect" means it CANNOT be prelooted. 3. Deliver 1 Lava Ooze Gland to Jenray 0/1 Direwind Cliffs 4. Deliver 1 Solusek Diamond to Jenray 0/1 Direwind Cliffs You have received a character flag! Jenray's eyes glimmer with an inner flame, 'Ha ha! Yes, these are perfect! Let all be witness to the power and glory of Solusek Ro!' Your faction standing with Scholars of Solusek has been adjusted by 225. You gain experience!! Reward: Jenray's Ceremonial Veil You can now redo the first task in the arc, Children of Flame, or request Severing the Strings if you have kindly faction AND have completed the Into the Leviathan's Lair 24-player raid task. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

This quest is nearly trivial if your capable of doing the one that leads to it, since the trash mobs in this area drop these 2 items nearly every time.
