If you're doing this with a group note that the last piece to repair the key drops off the orc slaver, NOT the miners.
The orc slaver does not spawn until you have found the source.
Which means if, for example, in a group of 6, some of them have not gotten the update for finding the source, they won't yet get the step to loot the final piece. Once you kill the orc slaver, make sure everyone in your group has the update for finding the source BEFORE they loot the final piece. Or, like me, you will have to do it all over again for those toons! :)

Tides of Time Overview.
This is the 3rd task in March 2024 of the Year of Darkpaw Tower tasks on the 3rd floor. It starts with the collection looking item on the 3rd floor near the door, loot it and right click the Broken Key of Forests. You found a piece of broken key in front of a door on the third level floor of the mysterious tower. The key appears engraved with leaves from an ancient forest. Holding the key reminds you of the towering trees of the Great Faydark. Further review of the broken key alludes to it being repairable. Put to rest the enslaved miner skeletons, pouring out of Clan Crushbone. Loot the Broken Key Blade of Forests from one of the risen miners. Loot the Broken Key Bow of Forests from one of the risen miners. Plenty of enslaved miner skeletons running around the zone, they were anywhere from level 10 to 105. They drop the Broken Key Blade of Forests or the Broken Key Bow of Forests almost every kill. This step updates around /way 2104, 2041, 0 in the northwest around all the big cut down trees. If you have a full group, make sure they get to that spot before looting the drop off the below mob. Once you reach that spot get ready for a level 120 orc slaver to attack you if you are 120+. It doesn't hit very hard and has little hit points. Loot it from the corpse of the orc slaver. Put all the pieces in the Broken Key of Forests and hit combine. Reward(s): 1237p, 5g, 0s, 0c Experience - 0.01% of the experience required to go from level 122 to 123 (or 62.60% of an AA point) and 1.01% of a mercenary AA point. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

One Skeleton spawn point is at /loc 1860, 1416, 20
You can stand right there, spam F8, and kill 20 pretty quick.

too late. buffs gone in a blink of an eye... or several hits of a shovel. lol!
also at level 15 the orc slaver was level 20 so it apparently scales.
