This quest can be obtained by speaking to Sir Godfrey Barantyn in Bloodfalls. He can be found in the northeast corner of the zone at 607, -355, 6. He is on the find tool CTRL F.

You say, 'Hail, Sir Godfrey Barantyn'

Sir Godfrey Barantyn says, 'Aha, reinforcements have arrived! You are most welcome to our little slice of Blood, friend. Most welcome.' He tugs at his tunic to straighten and tidy up his appearance. 'I am Godfrey Barantyn - Sir Godfrey Barantyn, a baronet of Dreadspire, and well, I just [arrived] here not long ago, myself.'

You say, 'You had just arrived, sir?'

Sir Godfrey Barantyn says, 'Well, that's the problem. I've lost track of the time, you see. Well, it's no matter; you're here now! I have a couple assignments here if you're up for them: Would you prefer to collect the [horns] of our enemies, or extinguish a few [shades]?'

You say, 'I can take down some shades.'

[Sir Godfrey Barantyn says, 'That's the spirit. Spirit, get it?' He flashes a fangy smile. 'You can find them to the south with the other invaders. Please [rid] us of them.'

You say, 'I'll be happy to rid you all of them.'

You have been assigned the task 'Throwing Shade'.

Sir Godfrey Barantyn says, 'Very good! Let us know when the deed is done.'



  • 1. Kill 8 Shades 0/8 Bloodfalls

    Quest Text: Sir Godfrey Barantyn, a baronet of Dreadspire, has requested assistance to cull the invaders to his master's demiplane. Rid the Bloodfalls of the shades and report back to him.

    Updates from an invading shade, an attacking shade, and a war shade.
