I have a frog shammy, I wonder if this works for them. The stats for this item may have been put up before Frogs were a Shammy race. I will have to remember to check the next time I log on.

I have used this only two times, but both times were on mob's that I could land NOTHING else after multiple tries. Then I decided to try this, and it hit first time on both mob's. I then followed it up with Malosi and it landed (of course, because the mob's resists had been lowered). I don't know if I was just lucky, or if this thing has some modifier to its resist chances. Either way, this 55 Shammy isn't too upset about his little toy. =)

How can you say this is a crappy item? A mana free -40 to all resists cept disease debuff? What you smoking? I would love to have this. I could free up a spot instead of having Malisement memmed. I could toss on Insidious decay and have all bases covered for 50 mana.
It's crappy because it has 7 charges. Sure, it's nice for the first 6 mobs you kill (say you get one resist), then after that you destroy it because it's a crappy crappy damage ratio weapon with no stats.

Its kinda like saying that sow potions stink because there's only 10 charges. Your not killing Phinigel to get this rod, but a little something extra is always welcome. Pretend your a bard for just a few seconds. Whip this out, switch it in, use it, and switch it out. Heck, easier than being a bard, you don't have to keep repeating. It's even instant cast!

using this wisely considering theres only seven charges man this could come in very very good use.. like on mobs in planes.. that have great magic resistance.. this item might actually work on em.. havent tried.. but hey.. thats 7 times to use it on em if i do..

It's only crappy because shamans get better malo spells later on. Maybe if it were for other classes, too, it would be better.
