Book Text:

Enchanted Scrolls.

I have done it. I have
found a way.

I have mastered a way of
drawing one's mana together
and with it empowering a
scroll in such a way that
you can cast certain spells
off it on the fly.

First thing you will need
is an empowering essence,
you will get this through a
spell that only you can
make. Only you can make it
because you must make the
spell attuned to your own
personal mana flow. You
can make this spell like
any other spell. Use the
appropriate spell scroll
material, quill, additive

and thickener. You will
need ink of Druzzil Ro as
your ink. For mass spells
you will need some ink of
Prexus to help pull in the
extra mana needed.

You will find that to make
the first three basic
spells and mass spells you
need to use a parchment
lower than systematic
research says. For the
basic spells you will need
stiff hide, crude hide, or
rough hide depending upon
which you are making.
Similarly, you will need
crude hide, pristine crude
hide or pristine rough hide
for the mass spells.

Once you have made,
scribed, and memorized your

spell, cast it to create an
essence. For primitive and
rudimentary parchments
simply weave it into the
fibers of a piece of
parchment. For higher
scrolls with more power
than those you will need to
use the appropriate binding
powder and binding solution
to make sure that the power
stays in the parchment
until its user wishes to
release it. You should
always match the powder and
solution with the essence
or they will not bind
properly.

Once you have the prepared
parchment it is as simple
as using a quill of the
arcane, and an ink
appropriate to the element

you wish to effect.
Currently the technique
only seems to work with
frost, fire, static, poison
and disease. Perhaps in
the future I will be able
to expand on it, but for
now, that is all I could
get to stay.

ATT, not used in any recipe. Looks like the final product of a systematic line for the level range.
