~ Continued Conflict ~
Raids on Freeport continue from Dark Elven forces stationed in the Commonlands. While it is obvious to many experts we
| have interviewed that the Humans are expecting the Dark Elves to retreat after they grow tired, Sheriffs suspect that there is something else going on here. Again we spoke to Sheriff Roglio.
"The Humans are doing the right thing. Whatever it is that the Dark Elves
|
| want, it's obvious that they are trying to draw the Humans out of Freeport into a conflict with them in the Commons. Hopefully by not engaging them they will prevent the enemy from getting what they want. The trouble is, we have no idea what they are trying to do.
| Rest assured, whatever those stinkies have in mind we will be ready for them if they move this way. We have as more experience with them than anyone and we know how to fight them. If we all remain calm and if citizens remain in Rivervale until this is over then we will all remain safe."
|
| We also have reports that the Frogloks are preparing for possible conflict by gathering supplies and training militia. When asked about this action, Sheriff Roglio could only say, "Seems like a good idea. No point in waiting until the last minute, especially if they aren't
| ready for any situation. The Sheriffs have all been trained and we're ready for anything. Though we could always use more supplies. Some good ale and cheese, perhaps?"
