Scars of VeliousI play a ranger as my main and don't even have a rogue as a secondary. Nevertheless, I am very impressed with this Rogue only bow. Rangers have several nice bows of their own and this one doesn't impinge on their territory too much. Perfect stats in my opinion. Way to go, Verant!

While I do not personally play a rogue, I believe that it is about time that there was a good bow made for rogues. Not only is it a good bow, but the stats alone for the range slot are very nice. For everyone tht is whining and crying about rangers getting screwed, suck it up. Rangers have some of the best bows in the game...why not stop being so selfish and let other classes get their chance? There are not a whole lot of rogue only items. In my opinion, there should be more powerful rogue only items...I feel Verant has somewhat forgotten the sneaky bastards.

In Cazic I have to roll for armor only I could wear. When a great piercer drops that is usable by a class besides a rogue, I'm sure I'll have to roll for the item as well. Verant got it right this time: make a rogue-only item no drop.

50+ rogues archery cap is 240, same as a rangers though they dont get crit hits like rangers do with bows. Rouges throwing cap is 250 and they crit with it, too bad there are no really good throwing items besides ultra haevy giant boulders. Archery is good for pulling only, even with trueshot disc. a ranger does much more damage with close up melee, and if he gets a truely spectacular crit hit everyones mad cause the mob might move away from the tanks...

Get a clue Silvermark. You are not the only class with archery. You are not the only class that pulls or fights with a bow. Most of the better bows are Ranger or Ranger/plus others. This is a nice (well, great) bow but not the end all be all.
To the guy who posted well above this one regarding the sleepers bow, that is like comparing a velium jewery to a necklace of superiority - just not in the same class.

This is a drop from a NPC involved in a quest.
You'll need a ROG(poison making,and its a poison you need very high skill to make) to complete the quest.
So, I don't see anything wrong to put a reward on a NPC involved in the quest for them, that way more people will be able to get help easier.

I don't play a rogue (anymore) but I think it's nice that Verant recognizes that rogues are traditionally a good bow class.

Second of all, what is your beef? I like playing my rogue most of all and he is a master fletcher too. Everytime I look at the list of nice bows to be attained, it is frustrating that the good ones are always ranger only. And if not ranger only, then it is something that will cost a boatload of money because anyone can loot it. No Drop makes this even better. And the fact that it is not something that only a super high level can obtain is cool. There is much out there that is Ranger only and very little that is Rogue only.
It has been a struggle for me not to give up my range slot to some other item that I really can't use and is only good for some stat modifier. It is about time that there is a bow that only rogues can use that also enhances all the things that important to them while at the same time allows them to use it in the appropriate situations.
