I am a Monk lvl 20 and I often double attack for 50 and 50.... I do more domage with this 2Hb then with my 2 master wu trance stick that are 7/18. But Matser Wu trancxe stcik only egt their use at lvl 35
This is a great weapon that is pretty easy to get. If your into that 2hb heavy damage kind of thing, check out the velium brawl stick that has a delay of 30/40. I picked one up for my beastlord and maxed my 2hb way before my h2h cause I could not put it down. I outdamage my h2h weapons bigtime with this, although my h2h weapons suck *** (Fireclaw, Fist of Wood). Beastlords out there should train this, lots of nice weapons for us that our 2hb. Monks who are looking for something along the same lines as this, the velium brawl stick only weighss 3.5 stone. It also looks very, very, bad ***. It looks like a captain caveman club with tyranosaurus rex fangs jutting out from it in every direction, very tits.

i was hitting in the 20s at level 1 as well and that was with my COTs not any sages battle staff, the weapon isnt that good, it would be better to get a smolering brand or fighting batons with the monay you could get from selling it.

This weapon is a very nice one for a 20 to 40ish monk; the ratio is great, and the damage is quite impressive, especially now that the "slow weapon damage bonus" is in place. :)
And, if you're ever fighting something with a damage shield, a slow weapon with a good ratio is far better, survival-wise, than a set of fast weapons like fighting batons.

I aquired this staff as a shmn, so I naturally assumed it wasnt very good because of the weight. that shows how much i know about monks. Talked to a friend of mine who plays a monk, and both his weps add up to about 7. So the weight isn't really a factor as its the only weapon you'll be carrying. So I started a monk to see and this wep rocks. I was hitting yellows for 20 at lvl 1. i think it's priceless, and Im betting it outdoes duel wield. Its definitely a keeper

I can understand some of the weapons being this heavy like a peacebringer or somthing because 28/30 is worth the extra weight. For this thing to be worth a damn the wieght should be at least 5 or below.

This is a good staff(and is 7.5 stones), I've had this since lvl 5 (slight twink), along with a Fighting Baton (2 stones) and essence of dol and havn't had any trouble keeping below the weight limit, at lvl 24 i sometimes double attack for 55 each, pretty sweet staff

If every awsome Monk weapon was only 1 or 2 stones, the weight limit wouldn't be much of an issue. If you choose to equip this, you then have to look for other places to drop weight and sacrafice possibly AC or stats. That is one of the challenges of being a Monk. I have an Adimite Bo staff and a Fighting Baton. Since I don't want to switch out for lighter armor and I want to have room to loot stuff, I only carry one or the other when I leave town.

This staff drops off the Tortured Librian inside the desecrated Library. Was first Tortured Librian we saw and only and he drop this staff, seems cool same dam/delay as Wurmslayer...nice little staff.

Been in Kaesora a lot lately, camping the library...never seen on of these...are we sure that the Librarian drops it??

Correction. It has 7.5 weight as of now... Not sure if mine is newer or older. But mine has 7.5

I was yesterday in Kaesora and i looted this staff, he is droped by a skel in the library.
