Lesser shades also drop Shade silk in Shadeweavers Thicket
lesser shades drop "shadeling silks" not "shade silks". ive farmed the shades to death, killed hundereds of them and never seen one drop a shade silk. shade silks only drop off the shak dratha as far as I can tell

I am curious about exactly what you get when you combine the swatch with a pattern. AC, HP, and etc.

I have gotten the silks from the guards at the entrance to the tunnel at approx -2100, 100, and a rotating spawn with Gor Taku at the camp near crossroads at -2100, -1000, drop 1 to 7 silks each, easy way to raise skill, combine two silks for swatch then combine 1 swatch with glove pattern.

The shade silks are used for very low taioloring skills, mainly just to improve skill, and the chunks of condensed shadow are used in smithing to make condedsed shadow arrowheads for fletching. Trivial at 135 i believe. the arrows made from them are trivial at 250 though (uber arrows) Dont let this fool you into thinking that they are expensive sells though. I farm them by the stack for my fletching, cause i refuse to pay more than 10 plat per stack from a player. Just to easy to get alone. I'll also add that I play on the E'ci server, under the name Aeayen Dracowolf, or Kaotix Harbinger, so if you are in the neighborhood and have these in bulk to sell, send a tell, and we'll see if we can come to an agreement on the price.

Just started tailoring to go along with my brewing and blacksmithing (blacksmithing main) and I can't figure out what drops the shade silk. Anyone enlighten me?

The silk is dropped by Shak Dratha seekers in Shadeweaver's Thicket. They also drop Chunks of Condensed Shadow.
They have a camp in Trinker?

Seeker's and Assasin roam.
In the fire camp you can have 3 spot of Shak Dratha or 3 gor taku.
You have a cavern full of Shark Dratha. Dark blue for a 25. and some are caster ( healer type, mabe shm ) so be carefull.
Boss are dark blue at 42 ;)
